Dont you need to find the instantaneous rate of change for certain medicines and liquids? I'm pretty sure you need these concepts and mathematical application.

Actually anyone who administers medication in any setting should know how much to use and factor in the rate of change in which the body will utalize that. Also, I don't think computers do all of that for every setting.

Computers can follow formulas just like a doctor would.

I don't doubt that, but you wouldn't always rely on a computer. If that were the case, then engineers wouldn't be bothered to learn math all the way up to Calculus III or DifEq. There's concepts involved.
