Honestly, I don't think you know how poverty works, and you most certainly have never viewed it as a cycle. If your parents were born into poverty, your chances of being in poverty are greatly multiplied compared to an average citizen. The majority of people in poverty are generally helpless, they weren't given lots of money and care as you probably have had when you were a child.

Most Republicans I meet are obsessively Christian, and the polls back that fairly well. The only non-Christian Republicans I meet are manipulative, rich business owners or sons of them.

As for what I said, I wasn't actually debating for the healthcare system, I was just mentioning how it was odd a party who has God written 12 something times in the republican party platform and bases many of its laws off religion would have non-Christian support.
