Sure don't want that. On the other hand, there will be more people selling, so quality will have to be high to sell. I think with it being legal, people will take the time and care to grow it properly, so i think quality dropping isn't that much of an issue.

One great thing about prohibition... It has indeed increased potency, similar to whiskey being so rampant during alcohol prohibition. The reason they do this is so they have less product to ship.

Its hard to increase potency with Pot, You can grow plants with more THC but there is a limit to what selective breeding can increase in a plant

Truuuuuuue, you could get the really good stuff back in the '70s, not nearly as easy as you can today. Hehehe! Plus, concentrates have gotten really good, but they've alwasy had hash I suppose.

A similar scenario: "Should I buy the cheap whiskey, or the higher quality whiskey?" This problem exists in every market, marijuana wouldn't be exempt. Either way, in Washington I believe it's illegal for you to just run a business from home, you have to be licensed in order to legitimately sell it. So, cheaper brands will still exist, but people would be quick to find out which brands are better than others.
