2 RepliesFalse equivalency really irks me. The issue is that one party in this country has moved to the far, far right, whereas the other party has moved to the center. It's not two kids fighting as much as it is one spoiled brat and one apathetic loner.

3 RepliesThe reason this will never happen is because Liberals see Conservatives as bigoted "me first" policy-makers, while Conservatives see Liberals as people trying to destroy the foundation of their own personal moral code that they grew up with. as opposed to what it actually is, which is two parties trying to make sure the other one cannot accomplish anything while in power.

A lot of times it just looks like two kids who won't stop yelling at each other about how only they're right. I hate the whole idea of completely identifying yourself with one party only, seems people become too busy "proving" how the whatever opposing party is a bunch idiots. Just seems to promote a whole lot of close minded thinking to me, though of course there's exceptions.
