Why would you not want to give people citizenship? We are a nation of immigrants.

They broke the law, they can get in line and wait like everyone else has to.

If you read the article it says that people already waiting for citizenship are still at the front of the line.

Because they're essentially being pardoned and rewarded for a crime.
