Assassin's Creed 3 SUCKS ASS!

Biggest waste of $50 ever basically a downgraded AC2 with boats and Natives. I want a refund and I will never buy another Ubisoft trash again.

  • I do regret buying it. AC2 kinda set the standard for me, and I've been disappointed with each subsequent release (though only slightly with Brotherhood).

You paid 50$ for it? Let me guess you went to gamestop. AC Revelations was my favorite. lol50$

        • Well duh. Ass Creed 3 was essentially Tutorials: The Game.

        • My second favourite AC game, the first being AC II.

I find it ironic how a game based around freedom is so linear. I was honestly hoping for you to have choices in interacting with characters and factions. Not once did Connor side with the British on anything. But that's just plot-wise. Everything else was great, save the oversimplified controls.

          • Hey! Don't compare ass suckers to AC3! You might offend them!

          • Yeah, AC3 definitely looks like a rental. I would like to play it, if only to learn from it's failures. As interesting as framing the first game from the perspective of Desmond delving into Altair's memories, it definitely wasn't a formula that could sustain itself over four subsequent games.

          • Any series that releases a game every year usually isn't worth the full price tag. If you disagree with me, consider Halo vs. CoD as a generic example. One of them rewrites the engine each game, even replacing the old one; the other rehashes the same engine and throws on a seemingly impressive graphical improvement, which levels out a few games later.

I also thought AC3 sucked. It was really glitchy at launch too.

            • It sticks with Assassin's Creed tradition with the bad intro and ending, but everything in between is great

AC3 had a lot of impressive upgrades, from an entirely new engine, to vastly improved freerunning and combat mechanics. Overall, I thought it was a fairly fun game, but the technology running it was probably more interesting than the game itself, though. And the ending was terrible.

              • The only Assassin's Creed games I've played are Brotherhood and AC 3, and I definitely enjoy Brotherhood much more. AC 3 is glitchy, clearing Forts is less rewarding, there are less interesting sidequests, and the multiplayer needs some serious work when it comes to the respawn system.

                • It's the most advanced AC3 yet. People expected Assassin's Creed 2 4, as in another installment of Ezio-style play. The truth is that they put a lot of work into the new system, and it feels pretty smooth. A lot of emphasis is placed on the frontier, and you can spend dozens of hours having fun in the forest. They purposefully eliminated the cookie-cutter fetch quests and replaced them with collectibles that required adventure, but weren't difficult to find. I also enjoyed having to travel around the cities rather than just climbing identical towers and getting the entire map. The end and anything involving Desmond was pure shit, and the dialog was painful at times, but I really enjoyed the gameplay.
