Went well. Started playing in my high school jazz band (bass), found the funk (it was hiding in my sock drawer), and got offered to play in another church's youth band (bass/guitar).

Bass for ten years, guitar for four. I'm heavily vested in studying music theory and composing music. I can play more instruments but I'd rather master the ones I play now.
