Super Mario Bros 3, Uncharted 3, Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption come to mind.
Out of those listed, I'd say Metroid Prime followed by Uncharted. It may not be my favourite of the series but it's still a great game and had some terrific controls.
