It's a colour photo... from a 100 years ago? Maybe you'll understand when you get a bit older.
-
What does my age have to do with my appreciation of a photo? I mean sure, it looks nice, but I don't see what's really interesting about this. It's a photo of a popular city that has advanced drastically in the past century, where we have HD photos of it from various angles. It's seems like you're amused too easily.

He is right though there really isn't much special about that considering how long photography has been around by that point.
-
it's in colour though. that's rather rare.
-
Colour photography was new when this was taken.
-
True, but that doesn't make it special/interesting.
-
What is your thoughts of World War 2 filmed in colour then?
-
Is this a reply to me? I think it's interesting. I'm not saying it's special or rare. I indeed find it fascinating, but I don't necessarily hold it in very high regards. To me, the black and white suffice well enough.

Meh. Obviously people have different tastes. I however, find these quite fascinating. The colour gives them life. The picture I linked in this post is 104 years old. It's so odd to think that every kid in said picture is more than likely long dead.

I'll agree with you there. It does give it more of a lifelike feel.
