There is passports, intelligence shit, documents in Arabic, it goes on.

We can't verify these kinds of things - we don't have the training nor the resources, so until this gets picked up by a major news outlet, it's rumour at best.

I nearly guarantee that this'll be snuffed out shortly.

Edited by Seggi: 1/25/2013 9:58:47 AMNope, almost all media sources are privately owned and controlled, and many are run entirely independently of whoever owns them. For example, Fairfax media here in Australia has a clause in its charter that guarantees editorial independence. Journalists in major news outlets are overwhelmingly committed to honest reporting, and in many western countries journalism is very unique as an industry so devoid of mandatory regulation. so, no, lol, the 'feds' don't have any control of the media.

Fox, CNN etc, all owned by the same family. -blam!-, I feel horrible because I'm too tired to dig up citations and shit atm.

Nope. Fox is owned by the Murdoch press, CNN is owned by Time Warner, NBC is owned by Comcast and General Electric, ABC is owned by Disney, and I don't think CBS has a parent company. And, even if it were the case that all US media were owned by the same family (to reiterate, it's not), the US is not the only country in the world.

The "cyber 9/11" comments reek of a politician trying to push for something like SOPA/PIPA. Get people scared and they'll let you do anything.
-
Jesus man, did you go through the documents? This shit is terrifying.
-
There's no way to go through all that shit in the 30 mins since you posted it. At any rate, being scared serves no point. Even if there is reason to be terrified, my statement about the cyber 9/11 comments stands. That's fear mongering to push a political agenda.
