Completely agree. 343i made a truly great game... But the way they're running it is just awful.

  • Indeed. It doesn't help that the maps are horrific, and the custom options don't help. I'm glad to say in terms of pieces, budget and frame rate, not to mention dynamic lighting, that forge is better than before in that regard, but it still isn't all it could have been.... They did however awknoledge that they made mistakes, which is more than I can say for most developers. They said they will work harder on Halo 5... then again, they said a lot of things they didn't follow through on... Oh well. There's always hope.

  • Haven is probably the best map in Halo 4 IMO. It's just so simple, yet the style and lighting is amazing and it's perfect for any amount of people. Whether it be a 1v1 or 8v8. Customs, Forge, and Theater were screwed up, definitely. That might not make the game itself so bad, it had a huge negative impact on it. I still love the game, but I could have loved it [i]a lot [/i] more had 343i done some things differently. As for Halo 5, I hope they can do better.

  • I'm still not a fan of Haven. Seems to easy to anticipate spawns and trap people in the unforboding bottom steets... other than that it's alright. I actually think for was pretty good in comparison to reach, despite it's every annoying things. There is more to use for maps, so it's quite nice to forge small maps on. Then again it's not perfect of course. Theater was definitely messed up, and the melee system is faulty (melee's not doing damage despite hitting the person.) But yes, lets hope they fix more in the next TU, and do better on Halo 5.
