Before I get started I would like to say that Europe is a great place. It contains all of my favorite countries besides Murica.
5. Mcdonalds is fast food, not a five-star resteraunt what do you expect? According to you a phone that does not get service everywhere and can break if its dropped is not a real phone. My iphone doesnt get service everywhere and can break if dropped just like every other phone. I find it intresting that you think the U.S. is bad because of cheap goverment han-out phones.
4. How is Europe more enviromentally friendly than the U.S.? We both have electric cars, bio fuels, and solar power. Why are you still talking about George Bush? We have a new president.
3. Where did you visit when you visited America? Utah? You apparently never have been to New Orleans. My parents gave me " the talk" and my school briefly went over it in 8th grade.
2. Well here in America we have this thing called seperation of church and state. If you think the U.S. is controlled by the Evangelical South, then why did a Muslim get elected as president? Europe's churches are used as tourists attractions for one reason only, its because they are beautiful. Europe is lucky to have such nice churchs.
1. I agree with you, but that doesnt mean my country sucks. Thats your opinion.
I love Murica
Well here in America we have this thing called seperation of church and state.
Not in America. Good luck getting somebody who isn't a fairly hardcore Christian into presidential office.
-
Obama? You must be ignorant.
-
Obama's playing up of his Christianity would be laughed at if he did it in the UK.
-
Your head of state is the leader of the official religion of your country, how can you criticize America for a lack of separation of church and state? Obama hardly plays up his Christianity, just reaffirms it when people are ignorant and call him a Muslim pejoratively.
-
Because our head of state is a diplomat, not a politician with power.
-
That has nothing to do with the argument at hand. We're talking about Church and State, not the nuances of the head of state position outside of that very strict window of viewing. Regardless of the Queen's actual role, it still doesn't change the fact that she is A) Head of state B) Head of the church or that C) Church of England is the official church of England. Everything else is irrelevant to this particular point.
-
Thank you Myth you summed it up very nicely. As to if Obama is a Muslim or not is debatable though. I only say it because I personally dont believe he is a chritsian.
-
A man's personal faith should be left to his own interpretation.
-
> Your head of state is the leader of the official religion of your country, how can you criticize America for a lack of separation of church and state? I'd rather have a figurehead, and leaders that don't seriously debate criminalising abortion, or a leader that is lambasted for the colour of his skin etc. The UK is a paradise of freedom compared to America, true freedom.
The UK is a paradise of freedom compared to America, true freedom.
Lol. Go buy a gun.
-
Lol, our school children don't get shot.

I can see without a doubt you are trolling and will remove myself from this discussion before you can continue.
-
Go ahead. I can't hear you over my real freedoms.
