Unlikely. The biggest attack surfaces these days are in the application space, not the system space. Just today a fantastically abuseable Java 0day was announced. Can run any arbitrary code with about 20 lines of [i]Java[/i]. Address space randomisation and ironclad permission levels make attacks with low level languages difficult. It's far easier to get into a system in the holes left open by other applications.

well. x86 is what you would use if you were serious. however as a prank you can make a batch file that will generate thousands of folders on someone's desktop. But that's script kiddie buisness.

yeah, they go "off" of the desktop to the right. So you could delete all of the ones you can see on the desktop. But there are still a few thousand more offscreen. they usually get shifted back into place on reboot. But thats not a virus. Its hardly even malware. In order for a piece of malware to truly be a "Virus" it needs to have the capability to spread across computers/networks on its own.
