I'm concerned about disney taking over star wars, but at the same time I'm glad someone is finally making another star wars movie. I really hope disney does a Republic Commando 2.

The big concern here is that Disney has shown something tangible - billed as Episode VII - to J. J. Abrams, Spielburg, and Guillermo del Toro. All have turned it down.

While the concern is certainly understandable, remember: Disney owns Marvel AND Jim Henson Company. So far, they've done right by them.
