In some places (like Utah), teachers with Concealed Carry permits are allowed to carry their weapons with them.

And I think that should be allowed in every school. Just look at the shooting in Texas where a man walked into a restaurant to kill his ex wife or girlfriend and from there proceeded into the movie theater next door. When he got in there, an off duty officer carrying her weapon managed to shoot the killer four times before he was able to hurt anyone else. If teachers have guns, they'll be better suited to protect themselves and their students. Look at where all these shootings take place, gun free zones, don't you find it odd that they're not taking place in zones where people are allowed to carry?

Not really relevant, since it's always (or almost always) a student doing the shooting with a gun they brought themselves.
