ShL, you know this is now a public thread, right? Did you mean to do that?
Regardless, since it is public now, I'll comment. Make all your threads public, so all the fatasses of B.net can benefit without having to take up one of their group slots. And as long as Fraiser is still gone, I'm sure the discussion will be of decent enough quality to be made public without embarrassing the group as a whole. :-P

Yeah I made it public intentionally. I need to find out what happens as far as moderation once threads go public though. The whole point of private groups is that there's basically no rules. If going public means we have to follow public forum rules then I don't think I want to go public.

Good question. Also consider that apparently the rules are going to be much more lightly enforced now, since we users have the ability to tune the forums to our liking. So even if you do have to follow the main forum rules, it won't be as strict as the old forum rules. Which is good news whether you go public or not.

OK I changed it to "public as default". I'm not sure if that means default from now on or if everything (including past made threads) is now public. Can you see everything or just this thread, RT?

Just this thread. I even tried following the group and same result. So probably all your new threads will be public, unless the thread creator unchecks that option when they make the thread.

True. And I'm sure there will be a good period of time where rules will be extremely lightly enforced due to all the confusion. Time to go public.
