I only have two problems with this. 1.) Hash tags are going to be abused to no end, especially by newer users. People seem to think this will break down the walls between the forums, but I think it's just going to piss people off. 2.) The filter system is already getting on my nerves.

  • In regards to the hashtag system, time will only tell. What's wrong with the filter system, if I may ask?

It's already begun to be abused. In the old system, each forum had its place. Namely the Community and Flood. Now, the two blend together and the topics just become one giant mass of forum - topics that should just be Flood are in the Community "Forum" and vice versa. Words were removed from the filter. Now people can say Fag and the like, and that's going to get old and tiring real fast.

  • I see your point in regards to the tagging system. However, the occasionally 'misstag' doesn't particularly bother me. It's a very, very small issue that is completely overshadowed by the sheer amount of flexibility within the system. I wanted to look up some discussion about Destiny; it took me a handful of seconds to present myself with a comprehensible list of every relevant Destiny discussion on the forum. I think that's pretty awesome. I don't see anything wrong with the changes that have been made to the obscenity filter. Those who wanted to use foul language for annoyance bypassed the filter when it was in place, so doing away with the filter (for the most part) in general seems like a smart move.
