Something about world domination I think. I don't know, the parts outside the animus are just there to give some overarching narrative to running around in history. really isn't necessary.

The world is saved, and now there are 3 "assassins" left, none of whom are trained, but Absertgo is still as powerful as ever. They literally accomplished nothing but do exactly what the Templars were working toward.

who are the three 'assassins'? Desmond may not have formal training, but the Animus Bleeding is the reason he has the training of a master assassin.

Desmond's dad, the nerdy girl, and the nerdy guy are the only remaining members of the assassin order apparently. They're not trained, but they're still part of the order.
