Waypoint's is still worse. This made me feel better, I hope it makes you feel better too.

16 RepliesThis is literally the ugliest piece of horse shit I have ever seen. No "real" forums, hashtag bullshit, NO SEPARATION OF FORUMS, everything looks like a comment on youtube or some shit, HIDEOUS design choices, hard to navigate. Holy crap Bungie I have been hanging around The The Flood for years but I think Ill stay away until you either change it back or to some middle ground. If I wanted trendy hashtag bullshit I would go on Twitter.

All I'm asking is that they reopen the old site. Keep this one, by all means. Just don't destroy the old one. Let us have it.

This is a beta, I'm certain they will keep the old format and just improve the design and colors and forums once this beta is over.

It felt smaller, and better, the old way. True Waypoint does suck, but they could have just kept the forum format. It was amazing for what it was designed to do. And they got rid of the flood! D:

It's not that I hate it. It's that I was shocked by so much change and it's going to take me a while to get used to this whole thing.

I hated it at first but I've gotten use to it. There are a few things I still really hate though.

Not to mention that they're still working on it, hence the "BETA" on the top of the page. And yes, Waypoint is worse than this.

The worst part is that the site when from my favorite layout to one of the least intuitive, most awkward-to-navigate ones I've ever seen. It'll probably grow on me to some extent, but it's just sad.

1 ReplyI think this layout will grow on us, especially considering some changes will be made. Yes there are big changes, and yes it resembles several social networking sites, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Sure, Twitter and Facebook are home to a lot of annoying teenagers whose life revolves around drama. But Twitter and Facebook are also incredibly successful at creating a community where people can communicate. So the fact that Bungie recognizes that and utilizes a tool of theirs is fine by me. The only thing that makes this forum resemble Twitter and Facebook in a negative way is people posting mindless chatter and dramatic threats to leave the thread. #growup
