Just mentioning all the other ships named after letters at least seem to look like those letters...yet I've never been able to understand how the k-wing is supposed to resemble a K, or if it even is supposed to for that matter.

Rotate the above pic one quarter turn counter-clockwise. That's the first time I've ever really thought about that.
