I live in the UK, I'm able to vote, but young, so I'm not familiar with many parties pledges etc. I feel that the government I would want in power fights for what is best for the country, not for their party. I want them: Pro: - Police FORCE and not Police SERVICE (If you know what I mean) - Less Nanny State ideals - Less breaking of promises (i.e. Uni prices NOT going up) etcetcet

  • I'm assuming you'd like the Police to be less...cowardy when dealing with criminals? Because I completely agree.

  • 100% correct, Police should be able to use force to stop someone doing something wrong rather than be afraid because of the risk of being sued by the person for that force. I was told a story that a car crashed on a motorway, it was on fire, and the driver was trapped inside, surely to die. A lorry driver on the other side of the road noticed, stopped the lorry, got to the other side of the road, and saved the guy. Unfortunately through the accident the car driver had broken his back, and he sued the lorry driver for the broken back, and WON. What justice is that?
