(A few weeks pass, shy into August. Crisha wakes up in her minimalist bedroom, where everything appears to be hazy. To her right lies Kuroda, who appears to have woken up some time before, staring at her. Crisha's face gets a little flushed as her vision turns fuzzy.)
Kuroda: *lowly* Soulbond. You were slumped. Guess that's what classified operations do to you. Lucky to even be able to get any sleep.
Crisha: *faint chuckle* Kurodaaaaa *faint gasp*...yeaahh....same as hunting down enemies past Scale-6.
Kuroda: We managed to subjugate a prominent Saitorealm member; we got him to talk about why...they want that lost city. Something about a...new world, a new society, under Saitorealm control, and that includes the other 7 mainlands, under Saitonia's rule.
Crisha: *mumbles* Woooooww... *monotonous due to fatigue* Saitorealm also attempt to utilize that bioweapon down in the Umbral Void, from the intelligence we gathered. Heeyyyy...nothing too classified. These are indeed domestic, foreign, hell, even universal enemies. We'll see the Saitorealm's collapse. *clutches Kuroda's hand affectionately*
Kuroda: Send them back to their time. Actually, no. Ensure that they won't be able to in the first place.

*Crisha's vision cuts to black. She opens her eyes, revealing that she was dreaming this entire time, appearing to have dozed off in the operation room, with Arko and Segoma looking up at the large screen, displaying a high-quality image of Taphitra in the streets, surrounded by civilians.*
Segoma: *to Crisha* Slumbering again, I see.
Arko: How's the Director gonna react to this?
Crisha: *to herself, hand on her head* Damn. It was getting good, too.

Segoma: I heard a slight: "Kurodaaaaa" while you were absolutely out. That's the guy from the noblemen hunters, right?
Crisha: *bit embarrassed* Stooopp.... Yeah.
Segoma: *restrained laugh*
Arko: We can talk love interests later. The Director wanted us on this mysterious woman who was supposedly spying on us.
Crisha: Oh, yeah. She doesn't really stand out fashion-wise. I assure you she has malicious intent with us. We gotta dig really deep on her motives cause something traumatic MUST have happened to her that involves us.
Arko: I'm leaning on your conclusion, Crish. Does she think she can enact some kind of revenge scheme alone? Director mentioned seeing a PC member, too, so if we connect the dots, this woman definitely has some kind of ties with them. Seems way too plausible to be a coincidence.
Segoma: A national threat we could be laying eyes on. Notify Liomage and he'll send every single organization on her; the S.S., S.T.A.S (Strategic Tactical Assault Squadron), Citadel of Noblemen Hunters, even some community-based organizations can have their piece.

*As Gridaiko and his gang casually walk through while carrying briefcases of zepiks, a woman, while not a PC member, is an advocate for them. She calls out to the 4.*
P.C. Advocate: Heyy, you 4, would you like to make a donation to support the Purple Cloaks, the Saitorealm, or even the newly S.A.L.A.O.T. campaign?
*The 4 carefully approach the table, indecisive on how to assess her request.*
Astonelos: Ay, Grid. *whispers to him* We gotta give some of these zepiks away to cover our tracks.
Gridaiko: *nods to Asto, then replies to the advocate* It feels a little pompous of us to be walking around with these zepiks and not giving some for a good cause. *hands a briefcase to the advocate* Use it for whatever; your little bases we see, strengthen alliances, doesn't matter. Cause this ruler sis....
P.C. Advocate: Cool, much obliged. Out of curiosity, where did you get this amount from?
*Turzo freezes up at her question, attempting to not draw any suspicion of the zepiks' origins, turning to Gridaiko for reassurance.*
Gridaiko: Freelance technology development and high-stakes bounty hunting.
Itarez: Mhm. We're heavily devoted to our jobs.
P.C. Advocate: That is amazing. I could assume hunting with the weapons on you all. We'll put these zepiks to exceptional use.

(Minutes later, at the group mansion, with the twins, annihilator twins, Cat, Kav, Van, Kyo, Alexa, and Kaburo, all looking at a Channel Lyon 76 live broadcast of the outskirts coliseum, with Roman addressing a crowd of Vaisallian citizens, who traveled overseas to support their Gladiatorial King, though it's guaranteed a large percentage of them didn't want to step foot on Saitranovia. Some VCO fighters are there as well, and even a Vaisallian news station.)
Roman: *from the TV, in Greek* (Now, my loyalists and I were attacked by some freelance hunters led by this guy called "Severaes".) *crowd boos* (We did fight them off, and then some android interferes. I am honored to be such a target because Liomage....*in English* Send whoever you want, from hunters to androids, even your military, cause once we gather what valuables we can from this pathetic mainland, you will be next, if this Saitonia from the future supposedly, doesn't get you first. He won't.
Vandren: Wow. He talks a lot of shit for a dude in nuke range. I know our military got loads of them, capable of destroying planets.
Alexa: *blurts out* PLANETS?!
Vandren: Not this one, though. We have the resiliency of about several multiverses.
Alexa: That makes me feel a little better, I guess. How does radiation work on Terranoviatia?
Kyokia: Much more fatal. You have gamma rays, right? We have sigma rays. The slightest exposure to an earthling can cause internal decay within several minutes. For higher scales, it's within months to years. Hell, some are able to adapt to it and even use it as an ability.
Kavita: And some have- *raspy exhale* healing abilities to combat it. Lexi, once you leave here for a while or permanently, we have to sort some kind of *raspy breather* power for you. A special little gift from the native inhabitants of Terranoviatia.
Alexa: Dunno, don't y'all have enough firepower to drive this Roman and his Spartan squad off the "mainland"? Seems like you're overthinking the severity of this guy as a worldly threat.
Kaburo: Makes technical sense, but in case you're unaware, Alexa, we just returned from the Infernal, which is an event native to this planet where it's put in a war-stricken state as a blood-red sky looms over, as some mainlands will be more affected than others. That kind of attack on Roman will start another chaotic war. And not to mention, but we had a war with Vaisallon Regions a few years back.
*Sai glares at the TV in silence, anger boiling in him from the sight of Roman. Cat looks over at him.*
Cathera: Sai, you all right?
Saitonia: Yeah. *sighs* Someone really needs to shut him up. *getting up from the couch* I'll see in person what strings are being pulled.
Ainotias: Brother, let us come. Don't engage in anything hectic now.
*Sai exits the mansion.*

(Minutes later Ruvasana Cafe, the same one Kyo is employed at, though not on shift. Inside is a fairly decent amount of people, a little more than average. At the windows, however, is the hunter with the black hair and icy blue eyes, whom his name is revealed to be Halcius Takyono. He looks up at the TV, displaying the broadcast of Roman's announcement.)
Halcius: *lowly, to himself* Not surprising he's enacting getting back at us. Arrogant, brash fool of a king can't focus on enemies within his mainland. Perhaps we are their sworn enemies. *sighs* Why would you bomb one of their military bases and ditch our throne, Rorinos?
____________
(An hour later, the broadcast has concluded. Multiple Vaisallian planes have landed to take its native citizens back home, while VCO fighters who attended board a VCO aircraft, and its news station depart by helicopter. Sai watches from a mile away, standing on a cliff as he waits impatiently for the droves of aircraft to be as far away enough. He then leaps up and glides towards the coliseum.)
(In the coliseum:)
Roman: *to his loyalists* That was a speech of utmost importance; I can feel an eminent war upon us.
Atomidio: And we will win this time.
Enierion: *nervous expression* Ehhhh, too much of risk. I mean, haven't our people suffered enough at the hands of Saitranovia?
Roman: Enierion, would you die for the benefits of a prospering future for Vaisallon?
Enierion: Yeah, but-
Aeriyos: Yeah, but my ass! *gripping the back of Enierion's neck*
Enierion: *pushing Aeri away* I get it. I wasn't around when the previous war between Vaisallon and Saitranovia happened, so some things I'm a little uneducated on. *summoning an ATD* How about I spy more on this Saitorealm?
Idonios: Yeah. Your turn on crucial tasks anyway.
*A voice calls: "Roman!", causing him and his loyalists to turn around, revealing Sai sitting on his makeshift throne.*
Roman: You again. Present you, or future?
Saitonia: Present me in all glory.

1 ReplyEdited by DarkEraser: 3/28/2026 5:25:24 AM*Continued Below* Roman: Another one to step up and challenge me. Y'know something? I actually played y'all. By building a coliseum and making it a hotspot, I was waiting for a whole army; your most powerful forces to rain hell on me, but I gotta admit, you are quite smart, cause unleashing those forces would start the war sooner and become even more brutal. Saitonia: When I win, will you take whatever you settled here with and scurry back to your mainland? Roman: That's IF you win. Unfortunately, there's definitely not a single outcome in any reality where you win this battle. Now get your Saitranovian reek off my throne. Saitonia: You still care about some temporary throne? *Sai summons his Erazerframe and slashes a piece off the throne, slightly angering Roman. Sai then leaps all the way to the combat zone as Roman, his loyalists, and his army of soldiers follow, proceeding to surround Sai and Roman as they prepare to battle.* ________________ [FIGHT SEQUENCE] *Sai doesn't wait at all for Roman to fully set foot in the combat zone as he drives his Erazerframe through Roman's chest, amplifying the energy as he slashes through Roman's upper torso pulling the sword out. Roman goes to counter an upcoming sword attack from Sai, but Sai teleports right as he gets close enough, appearing a few meters away as he transforms into Mage Enygma.* *Roman does a teleportation attack on Sai, who counters with a block, using his mage abilities to transfer the damage he would have taken back to Roman, sending the Gladiatorial King back a few meters. Roman zooms towards Sai, sending a barrage of punches that is blocked by an energy outline around Sai. The outline is taking some heavy damage though, forcing Sai to teleport away. As Sai appears, having created some distance, Roman delivers energy blasts by punches, Sai absorbs the blasts, forming one massive energy ball, throwing it down on Roman, who teleports out of the way.* Idonios: Just like Imorigaia, the Enygma form. Atomidio: That form didn't grant her a victory at the event against that sensitor, did it? *The hammer on Atomidio's back turns purple, then a copy is summoned in Sai's hands* Atomidio: Hey what the-?! *Sai unleashes a rapid, repeating spinning hammer attack that Roman evades. He then tries to disorient Sai with a brief blast, though Sai closes enough distance to swing the blast out of the way, then fires over Roman's right shoulder before delivering the hammer to his stomach, then to the chin, and an upward swing that throws Roman in the air. Sai jumps behind Roman, going for another hammer attack, but Roman recovers, gripping the handle, then sending a front kick to Sai, pushing him back, then pushes Sai even further with a short-ranged energy blast as Sai ends up right behind the energy sphere he fired seconds ago. As Roman charges up for one powerful blast, Sai backs into the energy sphere, causing it to disperse and make contact with Roman, nullifying the blast and countering with a powerful, explosive blast of Sai's own.* *Roman crashes onto the ground, ending up on his knees as a signal of resistance; that he remained unwavering as a form of Vaisallian tradition. As Roman stands up, Sai swings his Erazerframe several times, forming purple energy trails from the ground, traveling simultaneously towards Roman in rapid succession. Roman dodges a trail that is shot up, then lunges at Sai with a fist emitting tremendous energy. Sai sees Roman lunging and attempts to activate a mind trance ability exclusive to the form, but Sai receives a bursting migraine, causing him to kneel while also canceling out the multiple energy trails and give Roman the opening to land the ruinous punch, that delivers a less powerful, yet destructive after-blast that pierces through Sai's body, sending him stories high in an instant.* *Roman teleports over Sai, driving his signature spear through his chest, then proceeds to dish out rights and lefts as the 2 descend. Roman delivers a final right punch at Sai before the 2 crash down, causing a quake and shockwave shortly after. Sai is brought back to base form as he lies gripping onto his chest.* Roman: *pacing back and forth around Sai, taunting him* Wooooow. You actually put up a fight this time. Ehhh, still not impressed, Saitonia! Since you wanna waste my time and energy, I'll end this shit quick. *As Roman punches the ground, a dagger flies right at the side of Sai's face, but in a blink, he catches it, demonic energy swirls around his body. He then slowly starts to make his way to his feet.* Aeriyos: Roman, what you waiting for?! Roman: Aeri, let's see what the bygone being has in his arsenal. *to Sai* Bring it, and you better not disappoint like last time. *Horns form on Sai's head, alongside a mask with 2 tubes on each end. A holographic, purple cape forms on his back and so do 2 large gloves with jagged claws. Exomordia Enygma has been unleashed.* Enierion: *in Greek* Oh my. *in English* That's the Exomordia Enygma. Idonios: *to Eni* You still here?! Screw it. I thought that only fiends could have that incarnation. Grandmaster Riuno: That was just a myth. It's just as nightmarish as it was depicted in the Ancient Arckyve Era. Roman: *to Sai* I've faced a couple archfiends who've had that form before. Saitonia: *in a low, monstrous voice* I'm no archfiend. This'll be different. *A dark purple aura bursts around Sai as he teleports even quicker. Roman lands a quick, energy-fueled punch at Sai's chest, but he's unaffected, retaliating by gripping Roman's head with his claw, summoning a chainsaw on the other claw to pierce through Roman's chest, then throws him to the ground. As Sai attempts to jam his right claw into Roman's face, he reacts quickly enough to blast at that claw, distracting Sai as he lunges upward and sends a flying punch to Sai's face, sending him mid-air. Sai recovers quick, slashing at Roman with the chainsaw, but is blocked by an energy shield. Dark purple, blurry energy flashes around Sai's body before he claws through Roman's body, but with sheer luck, Roman barely takes damage due to an energy outline around his body just a millisecond prior. The 2 engage in multiple attacks for nearly 20 seconds, then shifts into rapid teleportation attacks. Roman attempts an attack, leaving his torso wide open for Sai to dig his claw into it, then impaling Roman with his chainsaw as the Gladiatorial King goes limp.* *The Vaisallian soldiers get in combat formation, golden energy emits around their body as they prepare to strike. Sai can instinctively feel it, but to taunt them, he unleashing the blood-curdling, ear-piercing scream, startling everyone within the coliseum, except Roman, who has actually gained more power due to his quick adaptation, especially from taking fatal damage. Displaying valiant fearlessness, he screams back at Sai, placing both fists on his stomach, charging up massive amounts of energy, and Sai also builds up his own energy. Sai's energy is absorbed into his body, unleashing the Chaos Explosion at the same time Roman fires his tremendously powerful blast, causing a quake that also sends pieces flying out, hitting neighboring buildings that are already affected by the explosiom depsite being hundreds of meters away. Heaps of dark purple and azure blue smoke billows within the coliseum.* _________ [FIGHT SEQUENCE OVER] *Everyone is making their way back up.* Grandmaster Riuno: So much for mere Saitranovian. Atomidio: It's a godly level of disrespect how this Saitranovian scum put dents on our Gladiatorial King. Enierion: Is it even over? *Sai and Roman are lying on their stomach. Nearly 15 seconds pass, and as Roman painfully lifts himself up, Sai gets up instantly, positioned like a savage animal as he coldly glares at Roman.* ???: Now that was a battle nearly on the level of Spartiate Crown. You have combat prowess there, Saitonia. *Everyone's face turns to shock, even the calm and stoic Grandmaster. The person is none other than Molgorath, who descends onto the ground, observing everyone.* Saitonia: *back in base form* You... Roman: Come on! Who even let you out?! Molgorath: *to Roman* Who let you in? First as Gladiatorial King without going through the process, and second on this mainland? *in Greek* (Roman, the Grandmaster Synedrion confirmed that you must accept my challenge. Saturday the 18th, at the Vaisilithion Coliseum. We will be waiting. If I win, I get my throne back legally.) Roman: *replies in Greek* (And if I win, I remain Gladiatorial King.) *Roman stares anxiously as Molgorath floats up, entering a private aircraft.* Saitonia: *to Enierion* What Molgorath say? Enierion: Should I even- I guess so. Our Grandmaster council made their battle mandatory. Saitonia: *to himself* So much for absolute sovereignty. Roman: *to his loyalists* Contact Gladiatorial Queen Thesinia. I'm the king. This fight is under MY stipulations. _________ END:
