No one asked for Marathon
Bungie,
Do you guys realize that Arc Raiders is pretty popular? Did you know how popular Destiny 2 was before you guys just put it on the back burner?
I’ve been a HUGE fan since alpha of Destiny 1. I was a true diehard fan. Until now. I’m no longer giving you my money Bungie. I’m just going to sit back and watch Marathon fail and watch Sony take over.
Marathon was a game that no one asked for. I have no idea what gave you the idea that an extraction shooter would attract Destiny players. That’s the biggest joke I’ve heard in 2026.
Bungie, you are no longer getting my money. I retire

I'm not sure how we facilitate that but both Microslop and Sony are kind of in the toilet right now. As gamers we were eating better when the war was on. Edit: capital M in Microslop, capital S in Sony.

Or a leap in iteration and innovation Like what fortnight did to PUBG Or taking advantage of an old formula in making it new like team fortress then overwatch I'm not saying you're wrong but there's always a chance even if it might be very slim such as the nature of business and the extremely malleable preferences of gamers... Literally nobody asked for Destiny and much of the Halo fanbase (including myself) was horrified when it came out because of the distinct lack of anything even resembling the kind of games Bungie had made before. But somehow, somebody liked it enough for it to still be around now. So maybe you should save your breath for a year down the line and see what happens.

Nobody asked for Destiny either. People are not concerned if you or other Destiny players don't want to play. There is a world of gamer's outside of the Destiny player bubble.
