Right now Contraverse Hold is giving over half grenade energy back on charged grenade HITS, not to mention it also applies weaken. This plus devour is an insane combination. Also you can get two grenade charges. On the flip side, PCCB only gives back melee energy on lightning kills, not hits. On top of that it doesn’t even give as much energy back and there’s no devour equivalent for melee energy, so there’s a pretty obvious gap in power here that can be easily fixed. Definitely don’t want a warlock nerf as that’s the power fantasy D2 needs, but PCCB needs to be able to refresh thunderclap on hits like contraverse does. Both exotics play a similar role in that they both strengthen a certain ability, but bungie needs to take another look at the titan exotic if the warlock one is this good.
