I play on playstation and i can’t even play the new edge of fate update. I load up destiny 2 then after i click x to continue my games crash immediately or 5-10 seconds after, i have tried everything if i have to delete it i’m not downloading it back as it will take 5 hours for the required content packs.
I've tried everything they asked except deleting the game. My game still crashes. Clearing the caches don't work, I checked my connection perfectly fine and I deleted the buggy mark and I still crash. If I have to delete this game I'm not coming back. 5 hour download is unacceptable exchange for a minor fix, when Bungie change just fix this bug.

It’s the class item, I took mine off via the app and now I’m back in

That didn't work for me. I re-equipped my entire gear pre-EoF and I still can't even log in Destiny. It crashes when it says "Verifying Update Content".

Ohhhh u gotta redownload required content 8 through 11 from your game store
Ohhhh u gotta redownload required content 8 through 11 from your game store
What? Re-download? I have them installed tho.
-
All 1 through 11?

For some reason, it lets me "install" again every Required Content despite them being already installed. I'll re-download them again and I'll update you when it finishes. Give me about and hour or two...if I'm still awake, it's 6:13AM here.

Damn lol that’s when I gotta be at work but I’ll look forward to hearing if it worked when I wake up

Update: It -blam!- didn't work. So I opted for a more aggressive approach. I just downloaded Destiny 2, the base launcher, and I'm forcing said launcher to download the required content. It irked me to see how the launcher scrern for the installation says "111,55GB", yet the whole game on PS4 is 275GB. Something feels off. And I swear, if the issues are caused by obsolete/not compatible required content, I'm rioting 😂

Yes. I re-installed the whole game 3 times. The whole thing is now 275GB on my PS4. It's unbearable.
