Yeah not buying it.
I was already thinking of not buying the DLC but man doing the first mission and getting motion sickness to then see the confusing new systems and the graphics downgrade made me wanna vomit.
The mission felt real boring and brain numbing,I don’t know about yall,but I don’t think destiny is for me anymore,at least for now.

1 ReplyI got motion sickness too during the intro mission. Every time I turned into a spark it made me sick and dizzy. I can only imagine playing the entire campaign with motion sickness. I own all the previous DLCs, so glad I did not buy this new DLC. The new destination screen is so bad! I was on the fence about quitting the game but now with all the new bad changes I'll definitely quit. I do understand Bungie is attempting simplify the game for new players but this is not it. I had hoped the new DLC would bring new life to the game but this new DLC is definitely not it. Is sooo sad to see the D2 end this way.

1 ReplyOh the missions only get worse. Lol. With erratic, elongated, nonsensical dialogue that you can't skip, ever! Unengaging, unlikable NPC's. The damn relocator/matterspark/mattermorph puzzles randomly splodged into the middle of ever single mission, just, I assume, to long everything out. The campaign as a whole is just boring. The novelty of turning into a ball wore off after about 10 minutes. I would say that this is easily the worst campaign I've ever played, in any game, ever. I am genuinely disappointed that I even paid for it. And that it cost so damn much.

3 RepliesA friend bought me the dlc. I asked him not to. But he and a couple other friends REALLY want me to help. I had to quit on the 3rd (I think?) mission because the mechanics suck, the lag sucks, the game is still boring as sin, and it's just crap all around. If I'd paid for this, I'd be super unhappy. D2 is dead AF, boring AF, lame AF, and I can't understand why people still dedicate hours upon hours to this dumpster fire.

Since I know things could removed at any time I buy the expansions on special so I'm going to see how the events/missions I'm already working through are affected before making any kind of decision.

4 RepliesEvery mission is a scavenger hunt for either the Matterspark, Relocator, or Mattermorph. No lie, I got to one point where I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I just used Strand to cheese it.

Oh and if you don't have Gamepass for Xbox, Sea of Stars is on sale atm with other games too. Im sticking around on the app to see if the game improves, that's a subjective statement but as it stands D2 simply doesn't appeal to me in its current state. Unfortunately I uninstalled D2 to make room but I've duped a lot of a hours into this game so just waiting to see if the tides change lol
