Well Darkness power was only part of it. You need control of Light to reshape reality.
The whole Witness thing was drummed up last minute. Heck they even admitted there wasn’t any real Darkness to begin with when D2 dropped.
That’s why there’s no hint of him ever in the lore until he just shows up.
The whole end game was a retcon. Which is why it’s weirdly convoluted and silly.

Yeah but now it’s a thing it could theoretically be possible. And with your point of light being needed. The guardian could use ghost as an anchor/conduit

Conduit isn’t enough, we have limits on what we can do with because it’s filtered through a Ghost. That’s why he needed to be in the PH to do it. But in general, yeah a strong enough Guardian could go into the PH and try it.
