Yeah.... the bonus idea is too short. Every year, it might be fine. But 6 months is gonna burn out more players.

It’s entirely optional though. I don’t matches surges in GM’s because I like running what I want, and that’s 25% bonus damage. So what’s 10% more damage and 15% DR(when you have a full set of tier 5 weapons and armor AND after doing the hardest modified activites) going to do? We gotta stop having this knee jerk reaction to something that isn’t a big deal, but the majority of players probably won’t achieve anyway.

I'm not being hyperbolic like most people. 15% DR is a substantial amount in destiny considering how everything stacks. Also, 25% output is different than damage received, let's not compare the two. Idgaf about the weapon damage reduction.
