Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
If you haven't already, we recommend that you update your graphics card drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website. This will ensure you have the most up-to-date drivers and can help resolve these types of issues.

Hi BNGHelp5, I made sure I had the latest drivers for my graphics, motherboard, as well as for intel itself. I still got that issue. I did notice something, during playing the other games I mentioned above, my RAM usage was about 50-64%, would this be a potential issue? And should I try to close my background tasks? Please advise on what else I should look at! Thank you!

If you're still having trouble after checking for a driver update, you may want to try rolling back to a previous set of drivers to see if this helps.

Hi Bungie! I tried rolling back the drivers to about march when the game was working fine but I am still getting the same issue. This time, I can't even play for a few minutes without the game freezing. What do you suggest?

You may want to try contacting the manufacturer of the GPU/drivers. If this is a common problem affecting other users, they should be able to assist with further.

Okay so a bit of an update. I contacted the manufacturer of the GPU/drivers. They said that it is most likely a game issue ( I was suspecting the same thing) because the problem is only localized to destiny 2 and not any other games. I even reached out to the unofficial D2 server on Discord to try to see if anyone can help me out. One person was running another graphics card but the person said that when they did some digging online, it was relating to how windows 11 was handling background tasks. I also have windows 11 but the problem was not happening before for the past 2 years so why now? Additionally, they suggested playing the game on regular windowed mode instead of borderless windowed and it worked for them (i dont know how or why) but I tried the same thing and it does not work for me. Is there any way to get in contact with a live remote support session or something where someone can help me out? Or even suggest a more thorough procedure for fix? Please let me know

Hi, thank you for the reply. As for the drivers, I can say for a fact that the problems started occuring after i've done a PC format, which leads me to believe that the drivers are the problem itself. I will try downloading older drivers and start testing with those. Sincerly John Lumina
