You can spec into the health stat for further improvements to regeneration.

So you’re telling me I have spec 200 health to get LESS than 100 recovery now?

Because per the twab Health 1-100 Grants 0-70 healing when picking up an Orb of Power. Grants 0-10% flinch resistance. 100-200 Shields start recharging 0-25% more quickly and take 0-50% less time to fully recharge. 0 – 20 Additional shield capacity vs combatants.
I understand it’s not tied to warlock rift anymore, but I constantly play at 100. 60 is like an extra 2-3 seconds on your health recovering. Making it at least something like 80 would be better.
Cited from https://www.blueberries.gg/leveling/destiny-2-recovery/ 60 recovery grants 2.65s health regen delay 4.9s shield regen delay 5.15s health+shield regen time 7.8s total regen time 100 recovery grants 1.75s health regen delay (34% difference) 4.0s shield regen delay (18% difference) 4.25s health+shield regen time (10% difference) 6s total regen time (23% difference) 1st the biggest difference in time between the 2 stats is 1.8s for total regen time not even 2 seconds. As for how many stat points you would need to see equivalent effects (assuming linear scaling), you would need 172 points in health for the same shield recharge delay as current recovery tier 10. And 146 points for an the same full recharge time. You will also be able to build for stronger health regen, via going over either value statwise or using fragments that buff recovery like the stasis one (whisper of hedrons) that gives 60 extras recovery in pve (30 pvp) for freezing a target. Edit: fixed something I omitted.

There’s actually a huge difference between 6 and 10, https://youtu.be/G5lLirqWKyk?si=Xq0PQ_eS1tmzDiRF 10 is almost twice as good. And in combat when you can get multiple shots at you in a second or two, that double healing rate is MASSIVE. The issue is people dismiss recov because we have on demand overshields and regen builds.

That information is outdated (7 years old).

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 6/14/2025 4:17:54 PMOld doesn’t mean inaccurate. Recovery hasn’t been altered since. Cause it lines up with your math, the time difference between tiers. It’s just that you looked at from a on paper perspective when the game is a fact action shooter when tenths of a second can matter when it gets hot. Fully healed va half healed is a big difference.

Recovery hasn’t been altered since.
I said outdated which means inaccurate, and yes recovery has been altered as the devs made it so stat tiers scale in a more linear fashion. They used to be even more non-linear.
Cause it lines up with your math, the time difference between tiers.
I did the math based on the values so nothing needed to line up.
It’s just that you looked at from a on paper perspective when the game is a fact action shooter when tenths of a second can matter when it gets hot. Fully healed va half healed is a big difference.
I said nothing about actual gameplay because that's purely anecdotal evidence and highly subjective to bias and inaccuracy. I also clearly demonstrated what stats you would need for the same efficacy and that there is no 50% difference between tier 6 and 10 recovery. 🏆 here's a reward for your ignorance and copium huffing. Maybe double check your facts in the future squirt.

I stand corrected then, and I thank you for doing the calculations so I know what number to hit at least.

But in general you are right, here’s a video demonstration of 1-10 https://youtu.be/G5lLirqWKyk?si=Xq0PQ_eS1tmzDiRF 10 compared to 6 is almost twice as good.
