It would have been fantastic if this information was posted in a more official manner - and not just hidden away in a forum post - on this actual site. Instead we're getting a banner that takes us to X and where I'm not even able to watch the messages anymore - because they're apparently "protected" now. Oh and the follow is pending. Great communication, gang! What's next, putting it on FB and require an account, like all the other idiotic companies that havent figured out that not everyone is a 40 year old housewife with a FB account.

It’s not his job to organize how Bungie announces what’s a regular, weekly maintenance that anyone who plays regularly is already aware of. He’s being kind and posting it here as a reminder and for noobs. A simple thanks to him would suffice my guy.

I have reported the bad link in the banner. It was not updated to the new @BNGServerStatus handle. I post this information here as a courtesy for those players who do not have a Twitter account and to make it easier for forum goers.

It was not a personal attack. I just figured that since we dont see Achronos (is he even still around) or familiar staff anymore you'd be the closest thing to staff - and pehaps able to forward site feedback. Ideally you'd be able to pin your threads so they'd stay on top of the forums - like we could back in the good ol' days.
