You can play at the shallow end of the kiddie pool XD (just kidding)
I have not been able to pull off the super hard content myself, while I believe I can pull it off, people at that level, will simply not give you much of a chance, if you don't absolutely steamroll over the ads, they just quit on you, and it's too much work for me, and not very enjoyable.
What I am trying to say is, if you are not running with that crowd already, then nothing will change for you.

So make your own group and try to improve if it's something you really want to do? I don't understand the "xxx420nolifexxx won't carry me through this content guess I can never play it" mentality. If you wanna do the content get better and do the content lol. It's a video game it's not like you're trying to compete in the Olympics

With so many changes being questionable, it makes bungie look like they're trying to make it like an Olympics. Not everyone can do the content even after "getting better"

And to that, are you implying every piece of content should be doable by every person who picks up a controller?

At the very least bungie can make an alternative route to work your way to get a basic tier 5 gear or two before attempting to tackle the content for even better loot, not just outright "do this content or no loot"

I am with a more experienced clan, I have dared to attempt the "ultra sweaty" difficulty option, of the rite of the nine, but I think that mastery wise, I am not quite there yet, but I am definitely edging into it. I have only been playing as non-prismatic hunter, and started 3 months ago, so I would say, that I am not doing too bad. I am not keen on being carried though, that's an empty accomplishment, being carried, is different, than being shown the ropes, and gaining experience by doing, it's a process that takes time.

Then I'm not quite sure what the complications are? Some content is going to be very difficult and will take time to overcome. If you don't want to deal with tbe toxic elitists other pathways exist to engage with said content.

There's nothing appealing about running with that crowd for me, their existence has been an irritant but tolerable. If gear tiering makes that crowd even more arrogant and elitist then f this game. I certainty am not appreciative of them having control of the direction of the game.
