From the videos I watched, it should be possible to get solo. However, it looks like you would have to play on grandmaster difficulty with modifiers enabled. Possible but extremely difficult.

Yeah that's the point because edge of fate is co op focus. Remember Luke Smith said he wants destiny future to be a action social mmo which is what Edge of fate actually is!

Ex why do you think we have something like dual Destiny in the game that focuses on Co-op -blam!-. Think about edge of Fate people who had Early Access already said that if you can't complete a mission that says that it will take you 15 minutes to complete your rewards are decreased according to datto and Rick cacace including Fallout. example if the mission guarantees you a tier 5 reward and you don't complete it fast enough either Solo or with a group your reward will be decreased below tier 5. you do realize I'm talking about a video that he was a part of almost 3 years ago.. "future of bungie." The video that Bungie made after Activision left.. I never said present tense!
