Destiny 2 is secured by the BattlEye anti-cheat which is 420.69% more effective than competitors at stopping cheats. Cheating simply can't happen.
Have you considered maybe you scorched yourself at the start? Maybe your allies were the human torch?
(this is sarcasm, battleye is dookie)

Been playing Trials for a wee while this a.m. (local)…and got sliced and diced on quite a few. No problemo! I’m an old 0.3% tortoise - so, it’s not new. Usually, I put SUS players down to lag / latency, more than anything else; but not always. It got a bit too much so I hit the Report button…and in the few milliseconds before the screen vanished, I did not want to tick the ‘Cheating’ box…nor any of the others available. And by then, it’s too late anyway! Suggestion: 1. Add a ‘SUS Player’ 🤡 option + <reason(s) why?’ Option, eg, abnormally high weapon fire rate; etc. 2. Leave the Report Page alone if someone is in the process of using it. 3. tbc FWIW: I also played against some really good players (‘you are worthy’ emblem)…and the difference is night and day when compared with the SUS Brigade. 🧐 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫤

I think now that Sony owns it they should just put a hardware ban or ip ban, VPN makes the latter more difficult, but hardware ban is doable.
