I do like your suggestion. I am all for supporting veterans.

What veterans would be included, since this is a worldwide game.
Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community is something that can be supported and recognized worldwide. All people who are in and or support the community, already have symbols and colors to use, and that doesn’t change between countries and nations.
Someone would have to form a group/ community/ team to come up with symbols or colors that represent and value all nations veterans, since this is a worldwide game.
If something like that happened or was already formed, it would be easier to potentially implement into a video game setting.

This is what happens when people thing every single little toenail needs to be represented. First off bungie is a US studio. They could literally just do US and its allies flags. That simple. Other games do this with zero problems. If they dont want to do that. They could just do a huge flag bundle and release it for free let people put on their own flag of choice. Then every year pick out 2 or 3 of the most popular shaders around the world and release those. There you go. Problem solved.
