Why are you people so against creating gear with resources when literally every other game out there is the same'ish genre let's you create everything you need from whatever you find (or even build upon the item in question, turning it into something different). It's like our ships, ghosts, sparrows, skimmers being a bunch of per item taking up inventory, bungie needs to just let us have a sparrow/skimmer, ghost and ship take up their respective slots and just let us alter their looks with what we have earned so far no matter the rarity, it would be far more simpler and would mean they wouldn't have to make an equipable item for each thing every time since IT'S ALL SKINS. There's an absurd amount of permutations for the exotic class item, same goes for the sword although not as much, it would be far simpler to just let us alter them at the Relic when we discover a new perk on a dupe item.

You can just say random rolls… Random rolls are a hallmark of MMORPGs for which Destiny has blended with FPS to unparalleled success. It basically all comes down to pacifying whining toddlers that can’t function without god rolls.

It’s just crying. You want that god roll someone recommended and won’t be satisfied with anything less. Because you can’t optimize dmg rotations and out range your opponents without it! No wonder this game hasn't evolved past it's same old armor/weapon(s) /ghost/ship/sparrow design. 'Anything else but RNG = BAD' Bet you're one of those people malding at the new armor/weapon redesign coming soon, oh no your poor RNG earned gear and 5+ dupes of the same gun in your vault you'll never use :O No wonder you only got 8 members in your clan, who'd want to play with someone like you who just wants to dump on everyone elses parade.
