Bungie's "servers" having nothing to do with it. It's P2P which means your connection is based on that of the strongest person in the game mode you are currently in. Blaming Bungie for every server disconnect is like blaming your employer for the road conditions because you got stuck in traffic on your way to work

Well, you are partly correct. Bungie uses a P2P/Hybrid approach on the network, yes. But imagine that Bungies servers happen to be at least one of the peers you have to connect to. It´s true that any player/peer you play with can cause network issues or lag. Personnaly, I notice "connecting servers" issues regularly when playing normally (with other guardians) or solo, like explore Nether. And I know that the issue is not on my side, since my connection is perfecty stable 99% of the time and while I have connection issues with D2, no one else in my household has any issues. The bandwidth is sufficent, ping is OK, no packet loss, etc.. . So the constant factor here is that whenever you play, Bungies servers are always at least one of your peers, normally more. So yes, Bungie might not always be the one to blame, but at this point, I take side with the OP. Bungies Servers are shite. Cheers.

I understand. Still, p2p in a game like this is just horrible
