Volatile is beyond pointless in PVP

In almost every case scenario you just kill a purple glowing Target with no benefit in doing so. Volatile explosions hardly ever happen when killing optimally. The only class that truly benefits with making someone Volatile is Titans. So why can Warlocks apply two different ways with pocket singularity or astrocythe with no benefit?

  • Incandescent also is useless in PVP when it shouldn't. It would keep people from team shooting in bunches.

      • The only cases where volatile has any sort of effect is when a volatile enemy is killed holding his teammates hands, they get tickled a little... and when an enemy heals mid engagement when the engagement was initiated with volatile. Otherwise, it takes too much damage to trigger a volatile explosion for it to matter at all. Its something that I dont even think about as voidwalker. Pocket singularity is just a ranged melee that can provide a little push on an enemy behind cover, but its countered relatively easily if used to try to stop a sliding ape, since the slide basically negates the push from the melee (as do sword swings or melee lunges).

        • Because it's a PvE perk, like Opening Shot isn't really relevant in PvE either

          • It’s mainly a PvE perk, some perks do better in PvE than PvP, and vice versa.

            • It’s pretty good bro. On voidlock it lets you cleanup more easily after hitting your melee. Also adds some splash

            • I don't know... I've seen people dominate in pvp with volatile. It's just situational and if the enemy team doesn't group up, you're also out of luck.
