I agree with On the Prowl. It’s too PvP-centric. It should’ve been something that rewards you for Invis instead of just another way to activate it.
Juggernaut is waaaaaay worse than Ascension - especially now that Amplified got massively buffed. Ascension is a SUPPORT aspect.
I think you’re not giving On Your Mark enough credit. It’s an extremely high uptime SUPPORT aspect that’s useful in both roam and Raids. It also gives 3 fragments in what is generally the most fragment-hungry subclass type.
Consecration (on Solar) rivals it. Consecration on Solar has very strong spikes but consuming a melee on this subclass is very hard to regen quickly without investing everything into it.
Frostpulse and Cryoclasm are both just as bad as Shatterdive in PvE.
Frostpulse attaches the freeze to the longest charging class ability in the game. Not only do you need to put yourself in a lot of danger (more than Winter’s Shroud bc you’re rooted) but it’s extremely infrequent.
Cryoclasm is basically the same as Shatterdive - giving an ability that deals bonus damage when shattering a frozen enemy.
Widow’s silk is good in anything that isn’t a GM or a Day 1… Flechette Storm isn’t bad either if you build for it.
Both Weavewalk and Weaver’s Call are worse… Threadlings are terrible outside of Horde Shuttle. Weavewalk gives you invis for 6 seconds and 3 threadlings per melee charge….
Weaver’s Call gives you 3 threadlings on rift cast (longest cooldown class ability) and strand kills can give you 1 perched threadling.
So Void = Hunter
Arc = Titan
Solar = Hunter/Titan
Stasis = Everyone’s got a lemon
Strand = Warlock x2

OYM is terrible. it's literally useless in modern D2 where both effects are extremely easy to get, and will get even easier in EoF due to the stat changes. it's mind boggling to me to see people defending it.

A large part is that it IS less powerful. But it provides 3 fragments to compensate. And Solar’s fragments go a significant way to making the subclasses function at peak. So yeah, handling and reload aren’t the strongest, but the buff has near constant uptime. Also, loaders and DEX mods are stuck on one of the most mod restricted armor pieces. So by picking them to emulate, you’re losing out on a lot of melee and grenade uptime + orb generation.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JM-0SlxVDAi-C6rGVlLxa-J1WGewEeL8Qvq4htWZHhY/htmlview# check Aspects tab. Aegis has it the 15th worst aspect in the game. not to say his opinion is doctrine, but i tend to agree with his rankings. this is an Aspect that you can trigger with an ability that already reloads your weapon to full for one, so the only real benefit is handling (name ready/stow speed) and you can get to the same amount of ready/stow speed as OYM x2 with just good perks, a handling MW, and QAS, none of which take up a mod slot on your armor. we're talking .07 seconds of difference here. with OYM x3, that's a difference of 0.15 seconds. if you think 0.15 seconds of ready speed is worth an entire aspect slot, i don't know what to tell you. in that tier list, of the top 20 aspects (a tier & above) 25% are hunter aspects, 30% are warlock aspects, and 45% are titan aspects. yes, one class has nearly twice as many (80%) a+ tier aspects as hunter, and 50% more than warlock. but hey at least we have near constant uptime on 0.15 seconds of ready/stow speed...

His word is absolutely not law if you’re not doing low mans or going for worlds first. He assumes optimal in every situation - which is great for some things but is impractical for others. Beyond that, most of his rankings outside of general weapon archetypes are heavily DPS focused - this is fine but I feel he heavily undervalues items/builds/abilities that are strong in roam-style content. As for the bonuses themselves, you need 3 loaders to reach the same stat bonus as x2 - with no handling benefits. This is a roam-heavy aspect. It allows you to have very high uptime on a +45 reload, 0.85 reload scalar, and +45 handling that can move with you and your teammates throughout an encounter. That ranking also doesn’t really factor in the fragment slots. +3 fragments on Solar in particular goes a massive way. I’m not saying it’s god-tier or anything. It could use a buff - potentially giving AE bonuses or even radiant on Solar multikills. But it’s not the absolute trash that other aspects are

yeah, live in your delusions if you want to. literally your first argument completely ignores everything i stated which is a fact. a verifiable fact. you can get the same effect without loaders, because the reload is irrelevant given the MODERN state of the game where every gun that's worth using will have some sort of reload perk, so the only actual benefit from the aspect is ready/stow speed. 50 reload doesn't mean as much now as it did years ago. not to mention it will mean even less with the upcoming stat changes. but i can see you are one of those people who will yap to the death over something that anyone with a quarter of a brain can see is wrong. i trust aegis opinion on the state of things in the game more than... whoever you are.

By Felicia… You were the one that jumped down my throat for even daring to say the aspect wasn’t absolute garbage. Idk why I engage in these forums anymore. It’s just filled with people that can’t deal with genuine conversation nowadays

fair enough. Valid points, no ad hominem. Though I still hold that these aspects aren't good enough to complement the innately weaker Hunter subclasses.
-
That’s fair. I’d be down to buff all of these. Hunter isn’t too far behind Warlock generally I’ve found, but Hunters have higher highs and lower lows. Nightstalker needs heavy reworks, and Strand and Stasis need some help. Arc and Solar are pretty solid in my opinion (with Solar in line to get a new aspect too)
