Weapons are still worth grinding. Bungie has stated that the weapons we’re getting now are around a tier 3. Your weapons aren’t going to be useless overnight. The real difference between tier is minor boosts to stats (like the stat bump Adepts get when fully masterworked). Just don’t grind armor. The new event has 0 new armor for that reason. Collect the designs for dresstiny, and that’s about it.
