You either really don't know how to play hunter, because almost all those aspects are to save your life, or b just wanted something to complain about. I feel its a mix of both though.

  • I'm a high end endgame hunter main.... and if there was a problem with hunters my team would not let me be a hunter..... or any other team would allow hunters for that matter, when titans sucked no endgame pve team wanted a titan and locked them off teams so its been done before.

    And almost all SE clears were 5 hunters 1 lock and 0 titans. Sundered is definitely not designed friendly for hunter. I mean numbers apparently don't lie lol.... I was also one of those 4k hunters in SD and it wasn't horrible but I definitely had to play smarter than the titan who could punch everything and never die.

  • Saying this when tags for lfg's constantly say "looking for warlocks" or "looking for titans". No one has ever asked for a hunter because everyone knows they get hilariously outclassed lol. Btw... titans didn't ever suck. The best builds from titans and warlocks are objectively better than hunters. The exotics are objectively better than hunters. The available abilities in prismatic are objectively better than hunters. You get the point.

    Brother, titans have never been garbage. This whole "titans are garbage" thing stemmed from them not being useful on one singular encounter in salvation's edge. That being witness encounter. Guess what everyone was using up until the witness encounter perfectly fine? TITANS. But because titans weren't used for the last encounter, therefore not showing up on the stat sheet for raid completions people tried to gaslight and act like titans were terrible. No, the real culprit for being terrible were hunters. The ones that WEREN'T used, and only saw playtime because of still hunt being broken against the witness. That's it.

  • No bud before prismatic titans were useless, no team going for placement or a good clear time wanted a titan, that changed with conq, and now with bolt charge is mandatory. So yes there was a time where titans were utterly worthless.

  • you have over 5k hours in the game. you are blind to the game's flaws because you play it so much. i'll let you in on a secret. you and your team, whoever they are, aren't the arbiters of truth. you all enjoying the game playing as & with a hunter doesn't discount the experience of people who do not enjoy the hunter experience, which is the vast majority of the playerbase.

  • they're all niche utility, none of them compare to other powerful aspects. And I get not every single aspect can or has to be absurdly good, but something like Unbreakable or ChOG has infinitely more utility and survivability than OTP or Vanishing Step. Similarly, I'd take something silly and fun like Heat Rises over On Your Mark, or Shatterdive, or Widow's Silk. PvP can f off, because no aspect should ever be created specifically for PvP unless all classes get PvP focused aspects for every subclass.

  • Yeah you do not understand hunter, that much is obvious the utility and survivability those aspects bring is absurd. The minute you said unbreakable was better was the moment I knew you didn't understand the game. Its OK to be a lower to mid tier player but I highly recommend you watch build videos to understand hunter.

  • I know some people are fans of ascension, so it's really the only outlier on this list, but that's honesty just Prismatic. As I said, none of these are game-changing, they don't even beat the bad Titan and Warlock aspects, and they only stand out for being bad, since Bungie refuses to allow Hunter anything but niche utility and PvP abilities. Anyway, Unbreakable is definitely better than OTP since it's instant mobile cover and an overshield for the cost of a grenade. It will save you a lot more and has so many other uses and gameplay loops than "get invis via another aspect (cannot support itself), then kill something out of invis to go invis again".

  • You're really failing to realize invis is hunters main survival tool, or ascension is out main defensive tool with gifted. Knock em down enhances our super and gives our knives back on kill. You are really failing to realize what hunter aspects do. Shatter dive being the only niche one you named as its a pvp aspect outside its use in pve for movement tech.

    Invisible is awful though, in a relative sense. It removes you from the fight rather than support your offensive abilities like every other subclass buff does. Something like Gyrfalcon allows your Invis to be offensive to some capacity, but that's with an exotic, not innate to the buff, which is the entire focal point of Nightstalker. Ascension is the same way, only useful with an exotic, and really not too good when off of Prismatic. I wasn't arguing against Knock Em Down since that's plenty fine as an aspect. On Your Mark is what's pitiful on Gunslinger. It's literally just universal loader and dexterity mods as an entire aspect, with nothing else to it.

  • Nightstalker is a support subclass you support your team with tether. And knock em down feeds on your mark they are always used in tandem. I still feel this is coming from another class main.

  • I can get behind that to an extent. My problem is that Nightstalker already had a way to make allies Invisible, and two ways to make theirselves Invis, so OTP feels like a waste; It's basically an extension of Trapper's Ambush with a bit of Heart of the Pack added in. In other words, it doesn't add anything new to the kit. Moreover, Dawnblade and Sentinel are also built as support subclasses, but they have strong offense as well, should you choose to opt for it. I would even argue that their defenses are much stronger since they allow you to stay in the fight longer and can bolster your abilities and such, rather than completely removing you from doing anything. Even if Invis got an overhaul and complete rework that allowed you to stay fighting while enemies can't see you, I still think OTP would be bad.

  • Otp is very good for mobile invisible especially in easier content where you can kill constantly with no need to stay in cover you pair that with volatile rounds and you pop into invisible kill a group run there with no risk of even being hit while moving to the next group to keep blowing them up. Its well and fine and promotes a very mobile play style.

  • that sounds like the exact same gameplay loop as Stylish. Either way, OTP could have just been a Trapper's Ambush buff or added exotic effect. As I said, feels like a waste for something we already had
