25k Glimmer to Focus 1 IB gun?
25k??? Really? So, to focus 99 engrams aka a full stack. That's almost 2.5 million Glimmer. Umm bungie y'all good over there? 25k per gun? I can spend 25k on a lot of things in life.
But, seriously why is it so much?

10 RepliesThe average player does not have 99 IB engrams to spend. Your post is irrelevant. 25k to farm specific roles at the current glimmer cap nets you 20 weapons. You are bound to get something useful from 20 engrams on one weapon.

Its all about slowing you down, buying/focusing is a trick to force the grind, but prevent progress too quickly ..

1 Replythe biggest issue with this is that no matter how many times you reset your rank in IB we dont get double perks. wich is pretty stupid.

Do you just not use the glimmer ghost mods, glimmer tonics, and tome of want glimmer focuses? There's almost no reason to be out of glimmer with those being active

You'll get it all back quite quickly, not to mention how you can buy glimmer from Rhaool and that you can boost your glimmer drop with Tonics.

And make sure to decode 20 engrams at once (keep saving)

Been like this forever and it’s awful - forces you to grind glimmer solely which is not fun for anyone

1 ReplyIf it's about the glimmer, the chests in the nether drop 6.5k. Throw on a glimmer finder rune and tonic and you should rake it in. I'm sure explorer mode has the same glimmer drop amount as expert so it wouldn't take long to farm the 1st area and relaunch.

Yes its insanely/stupid high. But just pop-on the ghost glimmer mod and do a round or two of PE's in the EDZ picking up chests and stuff along the way. A few minutes and you get it all back. Normally I just deplete my glimmer on the weapons and then go run few other things, with the ghost glimmer mods(s) on and you get it all back in close to no time,well Bungo time which is much different then real world time :(
