    • 1) pit 2) prophecy 3) shattered throne 4) grasp 5) spire 6) warlords 7) duality I have not done the most recent ones but i saw videos about them and they are waaaaay to long and because of that boring . A dungeon should be fun and farmable . Ghost of the deep for example takes longer than to watch all 3 lord of the rings movies .. 😂

      • 1. Warlord 2. Spire - This has always felt like a great dungeon. from the fights, the traversing and the jumping.. it all melds together like pb&j 3. Sundered - Epic lore, great encounters, its one fault.. HATE VOW SYMBOLS lol 4. Grasp - aside from the servitor encounter.. this is a gold start dungeon. 5. Pit - A favorite but, a bit short and easy even when it came out.. 6. Prophecy - Short, sweet, interesting. 7. Vespers - Final boss room encounters.. so much going on here. Why? just makes it chaos and a slog at times. 8. Duality - Glitchy at the start and from there made it hard to want to run it. Shouldn't take years to solve paid content issues. 9. Shattered Throne - I just could never enjoy this one. Felt it was awkward and disjointed.. 10. Ghost - Long, drawn out boss fights.. overall great location and ideas but, poorly implimented and honestly.. go slow ruined it for me.

        • This is my opinion and although I know some dungeons are mechanically better, I’ve just gone on what I’ve enjoyed the most. 1. Warlords Ruin 2. Vespers Host 3. Sundered Doctrine 4. Grasp of Avarice (just the servitor encounter is meh) 5. Ghost of the Deep (not great to farm but for lore and setting it is amazing) 6. Prophecy 7. Spire of the Watcher 8. Shattered Throne 9. Duality 10. Pit of Heresy

              1. Vespers host - No competition here this is peak dungeon design, core mechanic is familiar and straightforward and theres a lot of room to get better at it with time and be able to clear faster, encounters are intense and designed to still be just as engaging on your 30th clear as your first, Raniks is an innovative boss type we have never seen, anything braytech themed is automatically sick, haunted deep stone crypt vibe is perfect, bonus points for being by far the hardest solo flawless dungeon ever. Lightning at the final boss is a little overtuned but makes for a crazy challenge. 2. Sundered doctrine - Again a familiar raid mechanic makes a return with a creative twist, the lore being directly relevant to the mechanics is insanely cool and makes repeat runs rewarding as you learn the truths and lies better, First encounter can be done slow or super fast if you know the paths of the lights which makes learning rewarding, Lockset is another innovative boss and its awesome that you can basically design yourself how the encounter flows, and kerrev is just solid no notes. Haunted pyramid is another fantastic atmosphere and im glad they got more out of that space. Some of the best dungeon loot ever, literally everything that drops here is the best of its niche right now. Wish they would fix the lockset not taking precision damage but at this point im starting to think its intentional which is a bummer. 3. Spire of the watcher - Straightforward mechanic but gets progressively harder, learning the paths of the wires is super rewarding and makes the ceiling for speed and efficiency super high. Loot was mid for its time and is mid now, and the environment is fine. Pure gameplay wise this is just fun to run. 4. Ghosts of the deep - judging based on the ROTN version since it fixes most issues from the original and feels like how it was meant to be designed, this dungeon is good. The traversal is excessively long yes, but past that, mechanics are intense and well designed. Awesome atmosphere as well. 5. Prophecy - the first "real" dungeon, only critique I have here is the cube part drags on and rainbow road is another transition that is just too much. Encounters are simple as a product of its time but hold up very well today. 6. Grasp of avarice - Pretty good gameplay wise just not really a fan of the mechanic because it feels cartoony and unserious, probably because it came out with 30th anniversary. Servitor encounter is the worst dungeon encounter in the game hands down. 7. Duality - I personally am not big on the nightmare vibe and the core mechanic being changing dimensions. This is a dungeon you really have to play a lot a learn in order to enjoy and I just havent. I would give it another chance but the loot is trash these days so I have no reason to play it. 8. Toss up between pit and shattered throne - lets be honest these dungeons just show their age so badly these days, we wouldnt have what we have today without them but future implications and nostalgia aside these are trash. Opening encounter of both is a symbol chase that is so boring, both bosses are complete pushovers, these are just long strikes. Didnt have their own exclusive loot. Environments are pretty cool in both. Ungraded - Warlords ruin, have never done it, dont have the key

              • Ahh man Duality needs some love. I haven't played the most recent two Dungeons purely because the loot doesn't entice me (The laser targeting LFR looks fun though) but Duality definitely is an underrated dungeon. But it's subjective and opinions I suppose.

              • Duality last? Why? Soloing that dungeon is not tedious, it is intense. Prophecy now, or when it first appeared? Prophecy is an amazing dungeon as well, it has become too easy is all. We have all done the older dungeons so many times, but when I think back to the first dungeon I ever did, Pit of Heresy, alone with my son. It was glorious. Nothing can ever beat that first one, especially back when they were hard. First time I soloed Prophecy, with warmind cells, it was hard, so much harder than today. And when I completed it, I was so pumped.

                • I'm just gonna give you some takes because my list is more dogsht vs not dogsht Spire of the Watcher is a sht dungeon and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. Ghosts is good minus the opening taking too long and the walking simulator in the middle. Grasp is probably my favorite but I hate that the loot table is D1. When Duality works, I like it a lot.

                • Duality under Vesper and Ghosts? Either you haven't played it sense they fixed the incinerator back pack issue or you just prefer excessive tedium and being blind.

                        1. Warlords 2. Ghosts (I’m biased for a number of reasons here. Love Titan as a destination, first solo flawless on my Hunter as I did most on my Warlock, I actually like some of the encounters.) 3. Sundered 4. Spire 5. Prophecy 6. Grasp (it’s a really good dungeon and I highly recommend it as an intro dungeon for new players) 7. Vespers 8. Pit (it’s a good dungeon but kinda short. Love the walk up to the final boss tho) 9. Duality (it’s cool but it can be such a pain to do lol) 10. Shattered Throne (I SUFFERED trying to carry some former friends through that dungeon back in Forsaken. Worst experience of my D2 career. NOTHING comes close. Also, I don’t like how it’s always so dark in there. Bungie took the beautiful landscape of the Dreaming City and said “Hey! What if it was nighttime ALL the time?”)

                        • I approve of this list because your 1 and 10 are correct. If there’s one thing to be thrown in the DCV, it’s Duality. I hate that dungeon with a passion.

                        • I haven't gotten to warlord or sundered, i only just did vespers, spire, and ghosts very recently as a returning player, i haven't looked into warlord much, but reading about doctrine makes it seem like its not fun, but im also getting back into a lot. Duality has to be my worst so far, and the vespers boss is just chaotic

                            I’ve never played duality, ghost, spire, or warlords (Cause I’m broke :/ ) But I like all of them but some of the dungeons like Prophecy and Throne get old quick. 1. Vespers (cool cosmetics and environment. Pretty cool story too and good weapons) challenging but fun 2. Pit of Heresy (my first and only solo flawless so far, cool emblems, I like the uniqueness of the pit encounter) 3. Sundered (never really got old after all those runs to get the exotic. Decently fun) 4. Grasp (arrr pirates) 5. Throne (too much traversal) 6. Prophecy (don’t like the mote mechanic and the encounters are too easy and the second one is boring)
