Should they? Absolutely.
Do they? Absolutely not.
Only thing that progresses it currently is the lost sector. I believe it’s only like 13-17% progress each run. So you’re looking at only 7-8 runs. Not too terrible if you speed run with friend(s) and/or just space them out over time.

YW. Yea. LS aren’t that bad when doing with friends. Definitely not ideal, but it makes them seem quicker. And who knows, maybe bungie can patch this challenge to work with overthrow and/or the side quests around the map.
