3 RepliesI wish copyright laws weren’t so obscure. I keep trying to measure how different something needs to be from an original IP to not be considered derivative, but the line is so obscure that I can’t figure it out. In theory, Bungie can take anything that is considered “derivative work,” but it’s super scummy. I have no clue who is in the legal right for any of these cases. The Marathon one is crazy though if all those images are actually in the game. Those are almost one-to-one replicas.
