Yeah those 3 stacks and above should stay out of Control. I don't know if its a game-networking issue or cheating too but those groups always showcase a lagger/warping.. and they inevitably crush the lobby in most cases.
I had a lot of great close matches yesterday but I def remember when those 3 stack joins happen... I'm leaning to pre-viewing the lobby and bouncing out when I see the 3 stack.
As a community if we left every time we saw a 3 stack and above.. Bungie will get the message.

Laggers are definitely part of these teams. I’m hitting headshots over and over with my Wayfarer and no hit reg. Then they warp over by me and kill me. I reported some people a few weeks ago and got the bungie message upon loading in that action had been taken. Plenty more cheaters out there.

agreed.. also got this message last week after reporting (although I report every day shenanigans) the thing is I think its def cheaters in some cases... but maybe a majority the connection of a crossplay fireteam or some !#$ is causing the network issues and it may not even be on purpose respect that you are using Wayfarer.. have only gotten some drops of that in Onslaught so never got a nice roll to try.. ..hopefully that AI anticheat is gonna be up soon -
It's just the networking. Been a thing since D1, fireteam bias - the fireteam lead was always red bar in D1, because all traffic for the group goes thru the lead so damaging the non leaders is delayed, it's small but absolutely makes a difference & if the lead isn't on good internet you'll see lagging & teleportation. In most cases it's not intended or cheating it's just bungo's networking
