Edited by sharkocalypse: 5/15/2025 7:26:48 AMWhere did I ever say I have no idea? Please quote me on that or move on, cause it's clear you're not here to be helpful. "Sheesh" yourself when you clearly can't even read what I said correctly. My steam name is not derogatory or harmful, which is my ENTIRE point. Either an AI can't understand context or someone reported me out of spite, which I wouldn't be shocked cause I blocked two net hackers the other day and they weren't happy about it.

So then you DO know why it was moderated...

Yes, as I clearly pointed out in the original post... do you think you're doing something here?
-
You did not point that out in your OP.
-
HE DID point that out in their OP

No, they did not. They were questioning why the name was changed and stating it wasn't anything against policy. That is the opposite of saying they knew why it was changed.

Edited by sharkocalypse: 5/15/2025 9:41:41 PMNever questioned why my name was changed - the question was why I didn't get an option to rename my account. Seriously? Come on. I pointed out that it does not break the policy in question, as the policy refers to harmful depictions, descriptions, or graphic violence or explicit -blam!- content. My name was not violent nor does a simple word make something explicitly -blam!-, especially not something that when you use your eyeballs and read you can see it isn't actually harmful or even -blam!- in the slightest. Y'all do know I this name had to pass their filters before hand, right? I'm aware that certain words trigger AI but I expect a company of bungie's size and profit levels to be able to address an issue where an AI assumed malice where there was none.
