I mean strict SBMM was removed about 2 years ago, but sure, pop off.

Considering their outlier protection will put 0.5s in the same match as 2.5s, who knows. I assume it's just a way to try and appease everyone.

Edited by Golden: 5/11/2025 9:21:50 PMIf it’s putting .5 vs a 2.5 then it’s not working properly. That and it dosent help that there’s almost no one playing PvP anyways so it’s going to be tough to find a bunch of people of similar skill especially in the higher skill range. But for me it’s been the opposite, I’m a 3.1 overall, been nothing but a sweat fest. Been pretty much facing the same people over and over :(

Edited by Ursine: 5/11/2025 9:42:23 PMIt's been doing that since they switched to it, so I assume it's intended. *shrugs* I often see the same people as well now. Vut the very wide skill gap has been noticeable since the last year of "seasons". I'm very average, sometimes I'll be at the bottom, other times the top, it's so inconsistent.

Yeah it is really inconsistent. Most of my games have been sweat tests, I will get the weird game where we just mercy a bunch of new lights 😅
