I notice it heavily on velocity baton. For a gun with a very shallow perk pool the rarity of the desireable combination of demo attrition is insane. I have gotten probably 25 velocity batons at this point (Only started going for it recently) and didnt even see demolitionist in any instance until today for the first time. And you already know the other perk was adagio, which literally does nothing on this archetype of weapon. Same thing with reverberation it literally DOES NOT WORK on area denial frames. It goes further than weightgate, im convinced they pollute perk pools with utterly useless perks on purpose. Not even perks that just arent as good, im talking perks that have no use case even in the most niche situations

I agree with this sentiment, though I didn't bring it up as it's a completely separate issue that will never be resolved. Some perks have absolutely no practical application, some lose value since they don't function the same on every weapon type, and others provide such inconsequential bonuses that you'd be better off with no perk at all. I do appreciate that they don't just let the perk pools sit stagnant, and of course not every new thing will land, but there is no reason that perks like Adaptive Munitions, Steady Hands, Shot Swap, Invisible Hand, etc. should be introduced and never improved upon in any way.
