Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. In short I had to restart the whole thing. Searching for "The taken path" I came accross several videos; but decided to bite the bullet and watch the rick kackis's video. Yeah, the quest was hidden. And after that all the intrensics became available and I got the achievement and the seal complete.
